Very nice article. Very clear and very well explained! Thanks a lot for that (and thanks to @nonlinearone for forwarding it to me).

Also, I didn't know there was a mnemonic trick for trigonometry... One learns new stuff everyday (although this one... well... :p)

    Yep, its really just a silly memorization phrase. Sin = Opposite/Hypotenuse , Cos = Adjacent/Hypotenuse, Tan = Adjacent/Hypotenuse.

    Last year, I found out some students were using "Some Old Hippie Caught Another Hippie Tripping On Acid". I laughed at that one, but didn't endorse it for obvious reasons.
