Sorry. The experiment was just recently repeated through crowdsourcing. The experiment is validated. And nothing 'proves' the earth is a spinning ball, but it highly suggests it, and provides further evidence in support of it. At the same time, it provides strong evidence we are not living on a flat plane, and that the sun is not close.
The math can only be applied to both a sphere and a sun with TWO sticks (or possibly more with a bit of randomness), but once you add a larger sample size, then it readily becomes apparent that it does not work on a flat plane. IN fact, there experiment below validates that two sticks can give the same results, as one of them actually matched up with the 90 degree angle control on a flat earth.
So, yes, you are correct that the experiment can go either way.. with a sample size that is very small. With a larger sample size, it washes out the randomness. And when you see the model on the globe in the video, it becomes obvious that his original experiment was correct.
Also, the video provides all the latitudes and shows all of the sticks. So, it's basically 'open source' crowdsourcing that you can check the data for yourself and 'peer review' it, if you wish.
Scientist hate and don't believe in God so they invent a very much complicated mathematical formulas and calculations, when in fact if we use our common sense the Earth was immovable and not rotating..What is the purpose of the Light Houses if the Earth we live in was a ball..a spheroid..
I don't flat content I don't like. I flag content for various reasons including but not limited to:
I won't address the God issue. It's irrelevant and unsupported that they 'hate' god so that they invent things. That is called an unsupported claim. Please refrain since it's irrelevant and just your opinion.
Again, your allegation about lighthouses doesn't even make any logical sense. I have zero idea why you would think a lighthouse would not make sense on a globe. It sounds like something you heard on a video that you are just repeating.
And the experiment above, that is the topic of the posts, was done in ancient times. It takes no complex math or fancy equipment, and provided strong evidence the earth is a sphere with a far away sun, as do many phenomenon we see every day that you could do yourself if you wish.
So, really, you made three points, one of which was an unsupported opinion irrelevant to the conversation. And two that made no sense and were not supported by any facts or logic.
