That little bookstore looks very rustic and charming. It's been a couple of decades since I last bought second hand books, but someday those are going to be the only books I buy...
Why? Because there has been an Orthographic Agreement in 1990 and it's a big, big mess. After many delays, the books are only being edited according the new rules, who seemed to have been created at random, with no logic or sense.
Since the old books still follow the older but more logical rules, those are the ones I want to read. (It's either that or starting to read in English.)
Thanks for the photos, Denise!
Hehe! Well, brush up on that English, sir! :)
I love secondhand bookstores, mostly because people always pass their books on after having read them. I buy some books while they have been out for less than a month. So, I get a good deal on the book. Of course, I could always get it free from the library.
I was going to look up the Orthographic Agreement and I will later on, but, it sure sounds messy. I always wonder why the government can't leave well enough alone!
Thanks for visiting the challenge and I hope you have a most wonderful weekend!
