What an enchanting place to visit, we have 2nd hand dealers throughout our village no one bothers to present the old pieces in such a way as to attract customers.
Books have always been something to enjoy, the smell of the ink on pages, no sorry kindle does not have that at all.
Sitting on the bed reading to the children was always the highlight at the end of a day, watching their minds going down a road imagining the words as they spilled out of your mouth, hanging onto the watch the drawings, Oh books how we miss the tangible feel and touch.

We have many secondhand stores around here and they all dress them up to look inviting which is nice, although, I have sifted through real junk stores and found some treasures.
A kindle will never replace a book, although it does have a place here on earth. I still prefer to hold that book in my hands and reading to the children is one of those places in life that cannot be changed by a kindle, nor should it ever. It lets the imagination run wild, in many different directions.
I want to thank you for stopping by and leaving your always thoughtful comments. I say we go off to the bookstore today!
