Why do we need marketing? In most cases, any company needs marketing. Marketing implies the search and attraction of new customers; customer retention can also be attributed to marketing.
Marketing consists of tested models and calculations with figures. I wouldn't call it some unknown or creative process. Usually it is mostly Analytics of figures and improvement of existing business processes (increase of efficiency indicators).
You can independently come up with various marketing models or take ready-made from any other company. The second option is usually more efficient and faster.
The task of marketing is to increase the efficiency and profitability of any company. Even having a great product without marketing it is likely doomed.
