As much as I love the beach, if given a choice between that amazing property and one with less bells and whistles (if that's the case) but closer to the shore, I think I'd stick with this one! Of course, I've seen a few winter storms a little too up close and personal in my oceanside hometown of Gloucester, MA. 😜
One of these days, I'm gonna go ahead and crash an open house! I'll be sure to post about it when I do... 😂
Be sure to keep us posted on the house hunt - I'm wicked curious to see what you end up picking out! 😊

Hahah! You know I will!!! :)
I grew up oceanside too in Connecticut and I will say that you got nastier storms than us, but, not as good as Maine! Oh, we had a summer home there and the clap of thunder would almost roll you out of bed!!!
I have a house on the Eastern Shore of Virginia already. An old Victorian that has been worked on for years, little by little but, everyone has gotten great joy out of it and it was bought before the house here in the DC area.
It is nice, but, a little too rural for everyday living. (job-wise etc)
I shall keep you updated! Half of the fun is the thrill of the chase, right??
