I bring special greetings to all my readers today. I have had challenges in connecting to share with you my daily experience. This is as a result of working in an environment where l could find a single bar of a network. It's really far from the city and so you could imagine how life in this place looks. I am glad to make it home today even as l prepare to change location. Upon coming home, l passed by a market to share something great that l may find. And it is getting you involved in the excitement that market Friday brings. Thanks for @dswigle for this amazing show.

This is Accra here in Ghana. It's a tilapia market that is filled with a lot of people buying and selling. They are placed and sold according to their sizes and weighed. Getting to this place was ao beautiful. It really was nice to see how people have gathered getting themselves busy to buy. The tilapia sold here are fairly cheaper than what is sold outside. It is actually sold to people in large quantities. And so l found out this is where most sellers around this community come to buy from. And later sell them outs to consumers. They are placed in baskets and exposed for buyers to make a choice of their preference. The market begins as early as 2 am as l got told. And this place looks very busy throughout the day

It is when the caught fishes are offloaded and loaded into trucks for delivery at far distances. The market place has become an avenue where young people living around this place work to get something for a living. It has certainly created employment opportunities for young people here. But it requires strong and hardworking people. Just imagine how the place smells fishes. It is all over and so lovers of tilapia would enjoy spending the whole day here.

I could not stay for long since it as a detour l made. I hope to pass by some other time for a great and quality moment. This is an experience of what happened today which l simply cannot keep it to me. Thanks for your time and let us embrace the weekend with so much joy.

I am sorry that you had such a bad time getting a few more bars. It won't make you feel better, but, I am telling you, something always goes wrong with hive when I am trying to get a post out for #MarketFriday! I kid you not! It's always good when you can find an inexpensive piece of good fish.

I love tilapia and we fish for them or purchase them for dinner on a regular basis. I like it because it is a light white meat fish and the bones are not bad. The tiny fish have small bones and I have a harder time eating them without getting a lot of bones in my mouth.

This is a different market than normal. Fish markets notoriously start early in the morning and they usually do their swapping with the restaurants and businesses long before people show up. Fishermen fish at night, when the fish are biting or easier to net, not sure how they catch them there.

It is a wonderful opportunity for young people to earn honest wages. Times are pretty tough here right now. Hoping things get better soon! Awesome market, Sam!! @mcsamm I appreciate the detour! I want to thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday! Every #MarketFriday, you outdo yourself! I personally try to post weekly for the challenge to provide a different look at American culture. At times it will be over the top to show exactly what many cultures think Americans live like, but, mostly, everyday things. Sometimes, I just show places that I have gone to, all having an entry fee to qualify it for the #MarketFriday tag! I do know that it has been a challenge to find new things during the pandemic, but, we still have to live, so most everyone has been able to provide a post. It really surprised me, but, also delights me to know how much effort people put into it. It shows off how much we are alike and how different life can be. In the end, it makes it an experience that I look forward to. I appreciate the love and support given to #MarketFriday! It Is heartwarming to see how many posts into the challenge, including you. Thank you! Truly! Your participation adds a unique flavor to the mix. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! It was lovely! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
