That sounds like an amazing fourth of July.
I went out to watch a fireworks show than come back to the entire neighborhood launching big ones into the sky. Was floating around in the pool on a raft watching the sky light up. This morning I went out to look at the screen cover and it was covered in ash and derby from all the fireworks hehe. I thought some of them where rather close I guess I was right.

Of course, there is no shortage of 4th of July shows in the Washington, DC area, but the neighborhood I live in does the same thing. Get the biggest, loudest albeit pretties fireworks to toss up in the sky. Now, those kind are illegal here, but, being as I have Secret Service, State Department, Pentagon, Police and White House representation here, we sit back and enjoy the show.
