Oh, wow!!! You are really getting into the garden, aren't you? It sounds like a total redo and you have made it sound so wonderful.

I do love the hydrangeas and have five in the front/side part of the house. The one that does the best gets full sun and the others get more shade and seem to flower less. It may be the variety, or perhaps they like more sun? I am not sure.

I do love the intermingling of azaleas with the evergreens, it adds so much color and charm when they are in bloom. I bought four ferns last week because it is a buy it or miss it for the extra large ones. If you don't buy when they come in, you will not get but a smaller one for the rest of the season. Odd, right? They are hung from the porch and I really love how they look from the street.

Hosta have always been a nice way to fill in spots, but, I have finally come to really appreciate them on their own. Your garden sounds lovely. I hope you will be posting pictures of it!
