Answer: The letter M.
This little area here is equipped with a big screen(relatively) chairs and a couch, plus, pictures of fish and other kinds of manly things. This is where the men come to hang out and bond if their little woman stays too long. They have a popcorn machine that runs all the time, samples of wine, home-baked cookies and usually juice to drink. They do it as a courtesy. That's right. It's free! You gotta keep those men happy too!
I love my wind chimes. They sound like church bells, reminding me of my childhood, where I could hear the church bells alerting the parishioners that Church would begin in fifteen minutes. Long story - short... my wind chimes broke over the winter. I have never taken them in for the season and they finally rebelled and upped and died on me. So I need to look a little closer and play some melodies on them to see which one I want.
Novelty pillows were all over and some had embroidered animals or flowers on them, others had something silly written on them. But, it was a huge selling item. To go with the theme, there were paintings to tie everything all together. I know that there is nothing exceptionally special here, although some of the things could be fun, but, there are times where just wandering around looking at things and talking to people gives me a refreshed outlook on life.
Ribbons and ribbons and ribbons again. There was a boatload of ribbon offered up. Every color, width, and decoration on it.
Definitely a place to look at the offerings of a clock, from fancy to downright practical to upscale clocks and timepieces that would make Gucci proud. And the lamps! Did I forget to mention the lamps of all styles and shapes?
There were lotions and potions and all sorts of beauty to be had there. Perhaps, I will be beautiful another day. No time to fool around today!

Well I would like to know what the straight spiked leaf plant is where the big screen is. They sell them at the bait shop. Like a load of them. I never took the time to ask, but always was curious about them. That is the only plant they sell. They actually seem to breed them as they have them along every window in water.
I always love to see their decorating ideas they have there. They really do it up for Christmas I know! I like the "Home is where the boat is docked" one! ;) Great post as always Sunshine!
I'm not exactly sure which plant you are talking about unless you were talking about the mother in law's tongue? Is it just a flat leaf with spikes on the top? Being as they are breeding them, it sounds like the mother-in-law tongue.. is also called The Snake plant in the Vipers bowstring hemp. It is in the Asparagaceae family and originally come from West Africa. There are very Hardy and popular house plants here in the United States.
I love to see the decorating ideas that they have in places like this they really do Christmas the right way, although this year oh, it was tone down quite a bit.

Yep that is the one. I swear they have them in water and all along the windows. They appear to be selling them. I never paid them much attention. Since Iggy passed I dont find myself up there much, but next time I will get some pictures!
They are rooting them, but, I believe all they have to do is stick it in the dirt and it will grow roots. They are a pretty popular plant and are so easy to grow. I like easy.

Well thanks for clearing that up for me. I have often wondered about it. I go up there once in a while coz they hold UPS for the driver to pick up if the package is too big for the box. The robbers charge almost 3 bucks for the "service", so I dont use it too often!
All of the Ace Hardware stores and other drop off points do the same. So do the UPS stores, but, they are discreet about it. ;)

I know this is a shop you ove and WOW they have so uch cool stuff in there, that Meditating gnomeI love, I would have bought it for sure, even though we don’t really have a garden at the moment where we live, but i would find somewhere to put it until we move and hopefully have a smal garden :)

I love any shop that has an eclectic mix of things, it just keeps my eyes busy and my brain on overdrive! Everyone loves the meditating gnome and I will be going back to get him. I hear my name has been put on him to save it for me.
I have a statue (or three) in the house, so in your house is a perfect setup for a space. I know you will be getting a garden when you move. I am undecided as of yet if I will move or stay here. I have come to lke living minutes away and yet have all the benefits.

I love these sort of stores were you can walk in and do you shopping all in one place as with gifts or for yourself it remind me of the store i visited last week "Another Story" that was a similar store with all these awesome knickknacks they are so fun and enjoyable trying to work out what some of the things ever are..lol :)

The meditating gnome is a good choice they always bring you peace and harmony.
I put my back out about a month ago and it has been very annoying can't sit at my computer for long anymore it gets very painful i have been to the chiropractor a couple of times already but because my job is always at a computer sitting down it's making it hard to heal up so i have had to limit myself and take time out to do proper back exercises.
Oh, there is nothing like the back hurting! I have seen it unhinge some people. So, I am glad you are taking the proper care it needs.
So the platform had gotten beyond quiet and witnesses are folding their platforms. What do you make of all this and should I be worried?
Yep it certainly can unhinge you and effect you in many ways and it's something i would not be able to bare so immediate and proper care is in order.
It has quieter down a lot people don't seem to be spending much time on here anymore maybe they are finding other things that is worth more to them we are always looking for something better right..the amount of time and effort that we are putting into Steemit is just not benefiting or suiting a lot of people like it was unless you are some big whale to me honestly everyday i wonder and think to myself why am i wasting time on here for just a couple of dollars and doing damage to my health unless it turns around drastically i will not be here much longer i know people say it's not about the money but the bottom line we need to survive and our hours spend on here can be turn into more cash doing something else. It has been a great journey meeting some great friends like yourself and if it comes down to me not been so active here anymore i will still drop in and say hello to all the beautiful friends i have met along the way on Steemit :)
I think the reason witnesses are folding their platforms is because there finding there money and time is worth more somewhere else as the way i feel.

It is a very interesting store and had many things needed a fun walkabout. I didn't even get to the section where they had the wine samples and a nicely done wine cellar. We have many Vineyards in this area and they are very big on serving local fare.
Even though they had a lot of kitsch involved here, there is enough interesting stuff to keep you involved. I thought it was cute the way they set up a relaxing place for the men that were stranded in the store as their wives shopped. Now, that is what I call service!

Hello everyone, I almost forgot that today is MarketFriday but thank God I saw Steemians posting about it and here I am with my entry MarketFriday Goes To The Flower Market.
I see you went to the garden market again this week 😀 that's a picket burner for sure :) I would definitely buy a stone for myself, those look great. I also love the wooden furniture, which is a beauty. You can't find those these days or if you do, you pay a fortune for it.
I wanted to buy a wind chime but it looks like it's never going to happen as there's no place for that. My dad is not a big fan of wind chimes and I can't put it on the balcony. I was in a shop a couple of month ago and was looking at a few, very nice ones. Walking around I hit one with my head and the whole row started to sing 😀
I also see some beauty products there which of course could be interesting, you know ...
Do you know that I have occasionally forgotten on Thursday morning that it is #MarketFriday? Probably once - but that was more than enough!
The stones are fun and they will put whatever you want on them! It is really cool if you have an unusual name.
Ohhhh!! My father loved wind chimes, but not at night. LOL So whenever he came to visit, I would take it down so it wouldn't bother him. I can just imagine the scene with the wind chimes. One of my kids made one of the chimes sing to hear it and started a riot of music in the store. I was mortified!

A post for collection and school, so it seems to me. The flower market is the most beautiful market. I prefer the outside market, I prefer to give money on something alive even though it's not always about perennials.

Looks like a pretty interesting place! I have always enjoyed garden/gift shops that carry all sorts of interesting bits and pieces... including a share of "kitsch;" we have a few like it in our area.
Thank you so much for taking a walkabout with me through the garden market. I'm not even sure what to call it because you are right it is a garden shop and a gift shop and a little bit of everything else. Nevertheless, it was a lot of fun and they had some very interesting pieces, and even though I bought nothing I enjoyed it immensely. It happens to be one of my favorite places to waste time, because, everybody has so much to waste, am I right? I make time for it just so I can waste it! LOL
There's plenty of kitsch inside this place, but for some reason oh, it seems to sell. Goodwill has a good amount of mine, purchased when I was younger or not in my right mind.
Of course, I'm just kidding. What would life be without a little bit of kitsch???

Absolutely adorable place! And amazing flower, as always! ))
When I lived in my home town, my work place was close to my home, and I used to walk to and from through the city center. There is one special shop there, where I just love to come and check what do they have. Everything was so lovely, decoration, jewelry, souvenirs, gifts for any occasion. I cannot buy anything as it was too expensive for me, but what I got every time was a feeling of a magic world inside of it :)

Not at all. They don't mind that I take pictures. I asked if I could when I first moved here and they told me I could take pictures of anything that I wanted. So I do! :)
I love window shopping. It is such a nice thing to go and let your imagination flow with the pictures in your mind. Some shops, I cannot spend that kind of money nor want to. Other times, I don't want to. But, always I file it back in my memory.
Did you recently relocate to the town you live in or have you lived there for a long time? I have been in Washington, DC for a little while but, I was actually born and raised in the outskirts of New York City, not far away, but, country out of the city. :)

There are flamingos EVERYWHERE!!! I mean, it is almost summer and they are playing it up double time!! The memo was sent and then a followup! Where were you?? At the planetarium??
Yes! Well, to be fair, the wine is a sample an in small plastic cups. Think dixie cup small. They have setups all over the store and offer it up. They always have their popcorn machine popping, it is pretty big and it is self serve. Wah!!! No service. LOL They do cookies and have juice served with them at different places in the store. About once a month, they crack out some of their hand pressed olive oil that they produce and fresh bread... I could go on and on. I love this place!!
Oh, the gnome!!! Tomorrow! They put him aside for me!!! Hehehe. I'll split the lotto with you!!

That meditating gnome is awesome! Wanna do something like that. At least draw it...if I can.
It's true! I love the meditating gnome and was kind of sad that I had to leave without him. But I am pretty sure that he is still there and I'm feeling like I might go back and get him this weekend.

Fuchsias are one of my favorites from when i was little. My sister and i loved pinching the ones that were just about to open and they would pop open. We thought it was such fun : ) I don't do it anymore as it seems a little rough.
It's funny that you should say that, because fuchsia are one of my all-time favorite. And it has nothing to do with the bad things that we did with my mother's fuchsia plant! It's just so very exotic or maybe showy is the correct word. I love their vibrancy!
I'm glad that you thought of such fun because that is what my brothers and I did and now I can't believe that we were those children! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such wonderful comment.

We used to draw on the ground with jade tree leaves and pomegranate flower buds too. The jade tree leaves would be invisible right when you do it and then you come back the next day and you can see the writing!

That's a nice little shop, those are my favorite. I don't really like rock decorations though, too similar to tombstones in my opinion.
Oh, my!! I never thought of that, but, now that you said it... I cannot move my thoughts from there. Well, I won't be bringing more of those home. I have one as I wrote, but, the way it is perched in the clay pot, it looks like a sign.
I have to admit, I love the little gnome and a few other small things. I am not too much of a trinket collector, but, I do love to look! :)
