RE: Market Friday Shops for Freedom

Great looking colonial (?) architecture, well the inside looks like that... the outside, not so much!... but such an historic site, if that has been the tradition to read the Declaration for every year since the inception!

I love the photo of the guy playing the hurdy gurdy, hope the music was also fun to listen to!

The inside does, but the outside is straight up Georgian Architecture. It is true, they read the Declaration of Independence every year at 10 am on the 4th of July. I think that must have been the hour that it was read the first time.

History is kind of cool.

The Hurdy-Gurdy is so fun when you come across one, which is more and more infrequently! I do love it and the violinic sound it makes when the wheels turn and the string vibrate. I actually saw two this day, across town from each other, but, haven't seen one in more months than I can remember.

Thank you for stopping by and for leaving your kind words. Much appreciated!

#MarketFriday loves you!
