Early Market Update and How Central Banks Operate in the FX Market.

in #market7 years ago

In this report I look at the early market action from London on Monday August 14th, 2017. I also look at the better than expected Japanese GDP data for Q2 and the strange reaction of the Japanese yen to the data.

@maneco64 good morning!
Another week for speculators to frontrun.

I've written about the expected regulations to come against blockchain/cryptocurrencies - of course with the excuse to combat crime & terrorism.
A lot is happening in this 1st quarter of the 21st century and the international monetary system (IMS) is upgrading their legacy system for the digital economy, so cryptocurrency enthusiasts be alert and have some insurance in real tangible assets, cheers.

... Great Update! What are your thoughts about a black swan event? they always tend to come when things have quietened down and people are not expecting it.

A Black Swan event is always a possibility and as you said it is something virtually no one expects or sees coming.

That's what makes me wonder about "broadcasted" events, in the sense that people are already aware of them. The real "black swan" is the one that nobody is talking about, lurking on the sidelines.

I would've expected Japan's JGB market to implode by now, but it is taking its sweet time. Maybe later this year?

North Korea tension is simply Two BIG Peacocks

  • strutting around
  • kicking dirt,
  • creating tension between U.S. and North Korea.

Now, if tensions have subsided, then it is just because they took a nap.

THANKS for the update and News on Bank of Japan...

@goldkey You are welcome.

I sure appreciate Mario's reports and down to earth approach to explaining his take on things (as well as his contrarian view). Living in Taiwan I frequently wonder how world events and the markets are going to effect the economy here. Fortunately gold is still readily available here. Thank you Mario
