Liquidity

Money is, by definition, the most liquid good (or the most "saleable" good, as the Austrians called it). So, in order for any of these coins, including Bitcoin, to become money, they have to become a lot more liquid. And since their supply is fixed, the only way for them to become more liquid is for their prices to go up A LOT.

The gayboys will pretend that there is some shortcut to this, but there simply isn't. In order for any coin, including Bitcoin, to become money, it has to become substantially more liquid. In other words, the market cap has to reach many, many trillions because words have meaning.

This isn't anything new. There have been gayboys in the space for like 15 years now that say shit like:
"Market cap doesn't matter."
"Volume doesn't matter."
"Hashrate doesn't matter."

All of these metrics matter, and there is no shortcut. Just because you're a high-time preference individual that can't pass a marshmallow test doesn't mean the marshmallow test doesn't matter.

Almost forgot to mention the latest form of retardation:
"Open source doesn't matter."

Open source matters, actually a lot. Without it, they could more easily sneak in all kinds of back doors. Without it, there is less development because nobody else can join and contribute or build extras, test it properly, and so much more. And what happens if the team of the project dies in a plane crash? With closed source, we can't even check if the mfers are doing anything or if it's just a nice-looking front with a ghost town inside. There are many more risk vectors and negatives with closed source.
