Happy Hump Day
Happy hump day my fellow Steemians. @bigpchef here to close out the "Road Trip To Reno..." series with part 3. I have a shit ton of pictures on this post, so I figure I will do less talking, and simply caption each picture. Hopefully this gives you an overall idea of the last portion of my trip, without bogging you down with three pages of reading material. So without further ado, see below...We start the pics with my trip to Rise dispensary in Carson City, NV. You all know, I can't do anything without being medicated, so yeah.
Carson City & All It's Glory
Strawberry Cough - Sativa Dominant Hybrid - Strawberry Fields x Haze
Red hairs all over. Strong strawberry aroma, with a hint of piney gasoline on the back end. Taste a bit fruity, and packs a nice head buzz.
Starkiller - Indica Dominant Hybrid - Skywalker OG x Rare Dankness # 2 - Fun Fact: winner 2016 Colorado Hightimes Cup Best Hybrid
Frosty, dense buds. Super strong skunk aroma. Relaxing and tasty high. For $25 1/8, I was a fool not to buy more.
Island Sweet Skunk - Sativa - Canadian Sweet Skunk # 1 origins
One of my favorite strains on the market. Lemony, skunky aroma. Happy and energetic high.
Carson City is about 30 miles from Reno, and definitely worth a drive down. Small town with casinos, a couple of dispensaries, and a little Hollywood fame.
That bridge was just wow. My shot does not do it justice in any way shape, or form.
HAH!! I wonder if they have crossing guards to help them?
Any time I see horses, I have to take pictures. Just something about that animal - it's majestic as fuck!
From the parking lot of Chocolate Nugget Candy Factory in Washoe Valley, NV
If you go inside, which you must, try the chocolate covered marshmallows...YUM!! Also, the Sioux City Sarsaparilla - my Big Lebowski fans will know what's up.
Little Washoe Lake - just calm, blissful, and euphoric - a mother nature's weed strain, if you will.
Downtown Carson City with Golden Nugget on the left side of the street.
Remember that little fame from Hollywood I mentioned earlier? Ring any bells yet?
How about now? LOL! C'mon, if you don't know it yet, I don't think we can be friends.
Now For The Slightly Spooky
At this point i'm quite blazed, so all these houses already look creepy to me. I went to these houses specifically because there have been known to have paranormal concurrences. I will get into their history below. Out of respect of the homeowners, I took the pictures from my car. I'm sure they get enough of this already, so did not want to add insult to injury.
This is the Abraham Curry house built in 1871. The owner, Abraham only lived in the house for two years before dying from stroke. He was known to be a family man, and this was his idea of a dream home. Unfortunately he did not get to remain long before death knocked on his door. If you ask some old timers of Reno, they will tell you the house gets numerous visits from Abraham Curry himself, walking the halls, and admiring the home in which he once lived. I was luckily enough not to see him. Just cause I like scary shit, doesn't mean I want to see scary shit.
The Lake Mansion " was built in 1877 by William Marsh and purchased by Myron Lake in 1879 for $5,000. "- http://renohistorical.org/ I have been searching for past hour and could not find anyone to corroborate the hauntings. If it is haunted, I am assuming it is simply due to the number of people who have lived/died in the house. What a let down :( Sorry, should have double checked my list of haunted homes before venturing out.
This house was across the street from the Lake Mansion. I took the picture of the house and after I bring my phone back down, I see the guy in the window on the top left. It scared the shit out of me for a second. Then realized, oh its a human looking at me, not a ghost. He didn't seem too pleased with what I was doing, so I left quickly. If only that car wasn't parked there, then for sure he would have been a ghost.
Well Folks, That's A Wrap
I hope you enjoyed my little journey to Nevada. Thanks to the Tuck fam. Till next time, stay blazin, stay spooked, stay happy. Bigpchef signing off.
You've inspired me :) Time to kick back and relax with a Faaat "L" and watch conspiracy docs. Gotta bunch lined up, should be a gooder! :)
Sweet! Nothing better than some weed, and conspiracies.
One great journey ends here. Come again with another new and more adventurous one.

Ha, my post sir. I occasionally post from Tuck's account on some interesting post. And yes, I thought for a second I caught a ghost. Oh shit, I was excited. Then scared. Then disappointed. HAHA
Ah ok, good to know!
