MOVIES to watch when you are STONED | Best stoner movies

Getting stoned and then doing regular, everyday things is probably one of the weirdest and most fun experiences in life. One of the best, is watching a movie. I’m providing you a list of movies that will enhance your stoned experience. Though it is not necessary that you be high to watch these, we definitely recommend to smoke a blunt before you do.

1. Pineapple Express

The plot revolves around a process server and his marijuana dealer friend; they both are forced to run for their lives after they become witnesses to a murder committed by a rogue police officer and a dangerous drug lord. In his panic, Dale (Rogen) leaves behind his stash of a rare strain of marijuana called Pineapple Express that is so rare that it can be traced back to him.

2. Up in Smoke

Cheech and Chong meet by chance in California and are deported to Mexico. On their way back home, they end up stealing a van, having no idea that it is made of “fiberweed”. Adventure approaches them as they manage to outwit the police, that they don’t even know are chasing them.

3. Harold & Kumar Series

Harold & Kumar is the name of an American stoner comedy film series released between 2004 and 2011- Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay and A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas - starring John Cho and Kal Penn. The two friends embark on a journey to fulfill their desire for White Castle Burgers, get thrown into prison on suspicion of being terrorists and burn down Harold’s father-in-law’s prized Christmas tree, all in the span of three movies. A must watch!

4. Half Baked

After Kenny accidentally kills a cop’s diabetic horse, he is put in jail.The rest of the group try one plan after the other to rescue him and in the process, they end up meeting some interesting people like the rap star Sir Smoke-A-Lot. The group tries to sell marijuana for Kenny’s bail money while Thurgood ends up falling for an anti-pot daughter of a dealer, followed by the comedic antics of typical potheads.

5. This Is The End

Jay Baruchel along with other celebrities attend the housewarming party at James Franco’s house in LA when the Biblical Apocalypse begins. They realize that to survive the end of the world, they need to stick together but are too dumb and superficial until they finally find a way out.

6. Dude, Where’s My Car?

“Last night, we lost my car, we accepted stolen money from a transsexual stripper, and now some space nerds want us to find something we can't pronounce. I hate to say it, Chester, but maybe we need to cut back on the shibbying.”

7. Ted

When John Bennett wishes for his childhood teddy bear to come to life, his wish is granted. Fast forward into the future, John and Ted are still best friends and live together. Tension arises between the duo and John’s girlfriend, Lori, when Ted brings home four prostitutes which pushes John to choose between his best friend and girlfriend.

A high school valedictorian gets baked with the local stoner only to find that he is to be subjected to a drug test. Thus begins his elaborate attempts to get the entire graduating class to take the same test, and fail.

PS: - My personal favorite is Up in smoke. Just saying.
