Ash from my Blue Dream crop.
I'm sure many of you have been on the receiving end of a joint before, but have you ever stopped to look at the ash at the end?
These cinders reveal a lot about the Tendering Healing Care the grower gave their plants. Having seen a lot of forms of flower, I've seen my share of black to snowy white ashes. If your joint ash is black and coal like, then the flower you're smoking has a lot of residual elements left in the plant. White ash, shows that your grower took the extra time to ensure the plants were properly flushed.
I have also worked in the indoor garden business and you'd be surprised about how many people are ignorant on proper flushing techniques. Some opting not to flush at all for a quicker turnaround. Since this is something you're putting into your body, make sure you're putting in only the beneficial elements of cannabis.
Excellent Tip! Here's a Good Companion Article
"CLEAN" cannabis requires even more than a proper flush. It's extremely important to keep feed levels where the plant can properly process all nutrition available. Cannabis has an annoying habit of binding excess elements to new growth permanently, where it will not fade or flush out. Nutritional needs also change weeks before harvest, providing excess nutrition when the grower hasn't changed anything.
The More You Know...
the smoother, softer and more flavorful and aromatic your cannabis will be.
