To start it of, my close friends and I have been planning for a get together dinner since last month. Due to our busy schedule, Raya celebration and also me sitting for my exam. We finally had set the date for the dinner which is on the title of this post today. And also since one of us was having a birthday earlier this month. So we decided to celebrate that too.

So the venue for our dinner tonight was at Khuntai Village Restaurant. They have several branches but we picked the Cheras branch. You can visit their FB page for more details: https://www.facebook.com/khunthai.cheras/

Since they gonna be 6 of us, we ordered few dishes to fill up our hungry tummy. I'm the one who is the hungriest! I haven't had anything since the morning. We arrived first and we decided to help ourselves with the ordering while waiting for the rest to arrive.

The menu is as follows:

We ordered: Steam Lemon Fish, Lotus Root Salted Egg, Seafood Tom Yum, Deep Fried Squid, Paku Fern Belacan, Mango Sticky Rice and also a jug of Asam Boi Kedondong. And not to forget the rice. Rice is like our bread and butter. Cannot live without it!

The service was fast and the waiters are very attentive, the food was finger licking good and delicious, the ambience was family friendly. There are several people who are celebrating their birthday, so the restaurant played the birthday song and the rest of the customers will sing along. To top it off, the price was affordable. And I won't mind to be going there again. Or maybe to their other branch since this one is too far from where I stay. We really had fun catching up. Laugh our guts out.

This is us. The one that having the birthday is the one who's holding the yellow box. I made him brownies and the rest ate it too.

We planned to go for a durian feast but we have to abort the plan as all of us are so full from savouring the delicious food.

I car pooled with my friend there. On our way back, the car suddenly go out of balance. I told my friend, "I think there are something wrong with the tyre". I was talking myself because I feel the car is getting heavy. And there were loud noise coming from under the car. So I asked him to stop by the road side. He went out to inspect the car and he came back in and ascertain that the tyre was punctured. Both tyres on the left side of the car was punctured. But the front one was badly damaged compared to the back one. We seek for help. He called the car's manufacturer service centre and we waited almost 2 hours to get it sorted.

My friend said, we were busy laughing and having fun few hours before and the next we are here by the road side waiting for help. Thank God I do not have to be in that situation alone! And I'm sure there are people that willing to lend a hand when I'm in that situation. Actually there are few passer-by that offered help, but my friend insist that we go through the help of the service centre since he need to get the car fixed as well.

Although I missed the Belgium v England game, I was scrolling down my twitter feed for the update. A part from that, I'm blessed to be spending my night with the gang. And to be honest, there are so many times I go through shit with my friends and they seem to stay. I cherish our friendship so much.

To end my post, which team are you guys rooting for to win the World Cup 2018? France or Croatia? I'm rooting for FRANCE! Hope they will win the game.
