"We all have chassis specifications as well as different aerodynamic packages, according to the racing style needs of Cal. Honda wants to provide the best opportunity for all riders, because the competition is very tight," he added.

Dani Pedrosa entrenched in fifth position with 103 points, while Cruthlow was ranked 10th with 64 points.

Cecchinello said that Honda's policy changes not only focus on Marquez triggered Crikerlow slick achievement in 2016 MotoGP. The British racer stealing the attention because it won two wins and two other podiums.

"Yes (the result changed Honda's attitude.) But we always believed in Crutchlow, in 2015, our first year together, he was on the third podium in Argentina, but after that difficult situation because Honda focused on adjusting the motor at the request of Marquez Certainly not ideal for Dani and Cal, "explained Cechinello.

"With all due respect to Marc Marquez, who is a special pilot, luckily, in 2016, Honda began to listen to us more, even though it was a bit difficult at first," he continued.93-marc-marquez-espe_dsc_4873.gallery_full_top_lg.jpg
