Many saw this coming. I would also bet the MTG creation team actually knows about or much of Splinterlands. I wouldnt be surprised if they do, I'd hope there would be more focus over here, but there isnt yet.

Hasbro lost its chance to be the first collectible card game NFT but it may still catch up.
I dont think Hasbro cares about being the first one. The day they release a pack theyll catch up. Unless Splinterlands becomes better known beforehand, which would be great. I also don't see a MTG NFT game being a simplier version of regular virtual or IRL MTG. They could also test the waters out with non playing NFT cards.
