MACRO | House Fly

I was too busy searching for something interesting to focus on my lens in the shrub in the front yard. I was expecting to catch a different one but this insect keeps on coming back as if positioning properly in front of the camera. I transfer to another plant and keep on looking. Yet, this small insect is trying to catch my attention.😊

Let us have some facts about it, the House Fly:

  • They live almost everywhere there are people.
  • They are relatively young insects in the world.
  • They multiply quickly.
  • They don't travel very far, and aren't very fast.
  • They make their living in filth.
  • They are on an all-liquid diet.
  • They taste with their feet.
  • They transmit a lot of diseases.
  • They can walk upside down.
  • They poop a lot.

According to WIKIPEDIA:

True flies are insects of the order Diptera, the name being derived from the Greek δι- di- "two", and πτερόν pteron "wings".

Class: Insecta
Phylum: Arthropoda
Kingdom: Animalia
