This is my entry for THURSDAY MACROPHOTOGRAPHY & COLORPHOTOGRAPHY initiated by wonderful @juliank.
This is my trophy Carpenter Bee I captured last years in August 30th in my neighbor 's garden. Since then I took many photos of these bees, but they did not turned out as well as this one. They are very fast and usually prefer bell shaped flowers where they disappear within split second so it's really hard to get a clear shot.

I used to be able to get pics this clear with an old Kodak digital camera I had. I can't do it now with my smartphone :( I love the colors in this!
My smartphone takes bright pictures too, but it's not so good for bokeh.
