Thanks for taking a look at my photography
@brianhphotos
Beautiful! Your work is great, glad @oheyo cross posted you.
Thank You, pleased you you like my work, and thank you to @oheyo.
How does cross post work compared to reblog?
@brianhphotos as far as I can tell, only the Peakd.com frontend supports this (and I could be wrong about that - I really don't know).
You can crosspost into communities you subscribe to, to share the love. Quite similar to reblogging, but with more of a built-in curation situation because a small amount of rewards from the cross-post, if it gains any, would be shared with the community and the person who shared. (The original author, i.e. you, would still get 90% of any rewards generated on the cross-post specifically.
... and that's all I know so far— I only just realized that was a thing on Peakd and Steempeak last week.
Thanks for the explanation. I've only started to use Peakd myself and think I need to find out more about communities.
beautiful work. i like this! (THO, it could be less dark and cold, to my taste). this is one of my 5-10 forever fave flowers, btw
Thank You.
From a distance they are a mauve colour, but close up you see all the blues, purples and pinks
Beautiful photos of lilacs! These are one of my favorite flowers :)
Thank You. I have them growing in my back garden. They have a lovely fragrance too.
Well done!
Thank You
Great work! What kind of lense did you use here?
Thanks.
I used the Olympus 60mm F2.8 macro lens.
Occasionally I also you the Olympus 7-14mm f2.8, which has a very close focusing distance, for wider shots.
Nice. Im going to try this too. So far been only stacking inside my camera. Got E-M1 mk2 here as well. But have no idea what is Zerene . :)
Thank You.
Great choice of camera, it's still one of the few cameras that does in camera stacking.
In my opinion 'Zerene Stacker' is the best software to process your focus bracketed shots. There are others such as 'Helicon Focus' but both are a bit expensive, unless you do lots of stacking. There are also some free focus stacking apps but they are no better that the Olympus in camera stacking.
Do a Google search for 'Zerene Stacker' and you will find their web site, I'm sure they still offer a full feature, free month trial.
Here is a link to a post I made a couple of years ago which contains a link to a video I made showing how I use Zerene Stacker, which hopefully will be helpful.

Gorgeous! I see now what I have been missing with my own photos... focus stacking! (I have the same camera and lens as you.)
Thanks.
Your photography is great, but its always good the try something new.
The EM1 II makes stacking so easy, and if you have the 60mm macro lens you have no excuse not to try stacking. It has in camera stacking of up to 15 shots which you could try first, although does not give you much control, and then focus bracketing if the what to take it further.
I hope you give stacking a try and I will look forward to seeing you results.
Yes, I plan to experiment with this today, thank you!
Hello, you made beautiful photos!)
Hello, thanks very much.
