About Ants

in #macrophotography7 years ago

Ants are eusocial insects derived from the Formisidae family, and ants are included in the Himenoptera order along with bees and wasps. Termites, sometimes called white ants, do not have a close relationship with ants, although they have the same social structure. Ants are divided into more than 12,000 groups, with large numbers in the tropics. Ants are known for their regular colonies and nests, which sometimes consist of thousands of ants per colony.

This type of ant is divided into worker ants, male ants, and queen ants. One colony can master and use a large area to support their activities. Ant colonies are sometimes called superorganisms because of their colonies that form a unity. Most of the members of the ant colony are female ants
