On January 30th, the Lunyr platform will go into beta allowing a large audience to join and start creating content for the site. Lunyr is a Wikipedia like platform that rewards authors for content and also rewards curators for reviewing the content. If Lunyr succeeds it may draw a lot of Wikipedia authors that would like to be financially rewarded for their time and effort. At the very least, Lunyr should compete with other knowledge sharing sites and become attractive to advertisers. It may have a huge upside in 2018, driving it's token to all time highs.
It will take many, many years before they have enough content to compete with wikipedia.
