Introducing Lunyr, An Authentic Blockchain Knowledge Bank

Having the internet is one advantage that my generation has over the older generation. The internet has made it possible for people to share ideas. The school has become more uncomplicated and more comfortable for students. A lot of information and knowledge is being stored on the internet that a lot of students depend on it to do assignments and other tasks. Apart from the student community, large information storage also makes it possible for any class of individual to access and use some of the available information.

However, the availability, accessibility, and ability of different individuals to put up unverified content online is a significant challenge facing today’s internet users. This problem has made people go in seek of trusted websites that can provide better solutions to this menace. In an attempt to get traffic to their websites, most bloggers put up a lot of unverified content, thereby making it hard for users to identify the truth quickly. This Ethereum based platform has room for both the provider of the information (contributor) and the reviewer of this information. Both sets of people get rewarded with the platform token known as LUN (Lunyr Token).

How to get started

People often get scared of unknown platforms because they think it will be difficult and demanding to get an account. The Lunyr platform is the opposite of such thoughts. Getting started is as simple as the elementary alphabets. All the user needs is to download their desktop application depending on your Operating system. After a successful installation, users can then proceed to create their account on the platform. This single account is all the user needs to function as either a contributor or a reviewer. The platform makes it possible for users who can perform as both a contributor and a reviewer to do so.

How it works

One thing that gives me joy about this platform is the working mechanism of this platform. It was carefully designed in a way that it is challenging to spam, and false information is hard to scale through the review process.
Contributors to Lunyr are not limited to any niche or scope. Everyone is free to contribute to any topic as long as it is a fact.
The system works by allowing users to contribute to the knowledge bank. The contribution passes through a peer-to-peer compulsory review process. The reviewer then verifies the contribution to ascertain the accuracy of the contribution. This rigorous review process thereby reduces the possibilities of spam contributions.
Only contributions that pass the review process will be hosted and rewarded.
