Welcome back to another post guys and girls! Today we will be outlining why we believe Ripple will be one of the largest companies in the world and have a valuation of over $1 trillion by 2035, possibly even becoming the first $10 trillion company.
If we go back to the 1990’s, we had Microsoft, Dell and Intel who were at the forefront of the internet of data revolution; Dell and Intel made the hardware and Microsoft produced the software. Back in the day, the richest people on this planet were the ones who had the most gold. We then found oil and the richest people on the planet had the most oil. After the internet of data was built, we have seen this result in the biggest companies in the world right now; Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon and Apple to name a few.
These companies all grew to the goliaths they are today as a result of the internet of data. Who is in charge of the internet of data? The W3C. We all trust the W3C to control and regulate the internet, so that when they say a site is safe and secure, we can browse with peace of mind. This is the Internet Protocol (IP) at work.
The W3C are also in control of the Interledger Protocol (ILP). This is almost exactly the same as IP but for money and value.
ILP are a set of protocols that make sure a payment and settlement can bounce from one network to another or through multiple networks to reach a final destination. Ripple made this protocol and gifted it to the W3C, so if trust the internet it is time that you start to trust the W3C, the XRP ledger and ILP.
Ripple are at the forefront of revolutionising the way we send value globally and it is for this reason that we believe they will become the largest company in the world by 2035.
