Story Of Love and Obsession;

image imageJane, who an ordinary baker was not the romantic type, never was interested in having relationships. She preferred to live as single and to lead a happy life with her family and friends. So, when this business man, a handsome, dark, blue eyed man who has been coming to her pastry shop for a week had confessed to her, Jane had to gently reject him. As nicely as possible.
"Ah, forgive me, Mr. Jeffrey. I don't see you that way," Jane quietly said. She couldn't deny she felt quite bad for the heartbroken man, but if she never loved the man in the first place, how could she accept his feelings? People inside the pastry shop were wordlessly staring at the scene from the corner of their eye. The atmosphere was somewhat cold as if something bad was going to happen in the near future.
"But, TTTT, you don't understand," Mr. Jeffrey said in a pleading voice. He was clutching both of her hands tightly, entwining their fingers like a couple would do. "I can give you anything you desire, I shall shower you with eternal love like no other man. Let me court you, Jane. Or...perhaps, you need some time to think, yes? To think about me, us."

With a sad, apologizing smile Jane gave one of his hands a gentle squeeze, and ignored the anxious stares directed only at her. It was essential to reject this man properly, to make him understand she was off the limits.
"No, Mr. Jeffrey," she shook her head, few strands of black hair fell before her eyes. "I don't feel the same way like you do. Truth to tell, I'm not looking for any relationship. Not now, not ever. So, it'd be best for you, if you try to move on. Forget about me. Because, I know you will find someone better than me, a mere pastry chef, Mr. Jeffrey."
An encouraging, persuading and cheery smile she offered him, hoping her consoling speech might help succor him feel better a bit. But, the man's face was blank, void of any emotion. Gently he let go of her hands and without any other word, marched out of the pastry shop.
Jane watched through the window's glass, as there were at least five black cars outside. In one of them he got in. Everybody, customers and staffs, sighed in relief after the cars had drove away. But, the suffocating silence still remained as if people were afraid to speak up, that was until a blonde chubby boy of twelve years opened his mouth.
"I don't think he took the rejection well," he said, sitting at the counter.
"He needs to accept it, peter," Jane replied.
"Sis, you do realize that you just Jeffrey Ewing aka 'Chevron Kings', Manager of Chevron Limited? The Chevrolet Mafia."

Jane slightly gulped at the name.
'I know that.' [A/N]

He did not care if she was heartless, uncaring, unemotional, uncompassionate, vicious and vulgar, stupid and grasping, he loved her. He would rather have misery with one than happiness with the other.

When you have seen as much of life as I have, you will not underestimate the power of obsessive love.
