The First Ever Picture Taken of My Wife and I

Hello Steemians! This is the first ever photo that my wife and I took together, on July 24th, 2012. This is almost five years old! Which means it's almost been 5 whole years since I met Roxana! Maybe I should've waited until the 5 year mark to post it, but it's close enough.

It was my first time ever going to Venezuela, where my wife is from. I think I arrived July 19th, 2012. I was nervous and I'm sure she was too. The first time I went to Venezuela, I stayed there for 4 months. I stayed in the same apartment building that she was in, with a neighbor of hers. Roxana was on the 3rd floor, and I was on the 1st. I remember going out for long walks to buy fruit and vegetables, coming back and waiting for her to get back from university. I had just graduated from my university in the states in May of the same year, so I took the summer to go to Venezuela.

I remember buying bananas by the kilo, raisins, walking La Chinita mall to buy groceries and just be in air conditioning (haha!) This was a great summer, one of the best of my life. We started a true relationship that led to our marriage. I won't get any more sappy than that, but just know it was a fun time to be alive for Roxana and I. She drank her first beer (and got drunk off of half of one)

So Steemians, we definitely need more love in the world. To say that I love Roxana is an understatement, and she knows that. Don't you? hehehe

Bonus pictures: Because you stuck around to the bottom of the post, you get to see the pictures taken after Roxana drank her first beer! HAHAHA she only drank half of it and then started laughing incessantly!
