Love expressed in poetry

When I introduced myself, I stated my love and interest in poetry. As such, I decided to post one of my poems here for your pleasure.

Beautiful beyond comprehension
That’s who you are to me
Amazing with enthralling affection
You freely mesmerize my entire composure
When I sought for you in consistent motions
You let me into the glow that sparkles in your cocoon

Dark times did set in
Dredging a wide gulf between us
Disaffection we did not let in
Holding on to rich fragrances we share

In us was the light that made us shine
To dispel the darkness that brushed us apart
Our love now binds us stronger, making me forever thine
