Define love! Hmm... yeah most of us face with this dilemma. What is love? Is it really love? so and so on... I don't know sometimes what love is. We have to talk about kinds of love. But I will focus on love between two partners. I am single for a looong time. Yeah it is true. 23 years and I'm counting on the years. I'm trying to be happy alone and find myself. What is this "finding yourself"? I actually hate that phrase. So what? I haven't met with a single guy that is compatible with me. It's OK. Sometimes I think that some people are not meant to be in a relationship. Maybe I'm that kind.. Who knows...
Like you said, there are many different types of love.
While I’m hesitant to agree with the statement that some people are meant to be alone forever, solitude is not a bad thing; but loneliness is. If you can be by yourself (not to “find yourself”, but focus on what you think is important right now), that is a good thing. If you can’t be by yourself, how would you expect somebody else to be with you?
If I can add one advice that suited me well: Do what you love.
A often noticed side effect is that you might meet somebody that will love you.
Yeah right, that's the biggest problem for me. loving myself or being by myself. I mean I love being by myself and being with friends.
