Today was a great day.
Slept in, drs appointment and surgical consult, home, nap, made an amazing dinner and got to enjoy it on the deck with my wonderful Fiancé.
Life really is good right now, despite the minor hurdles over the past few days.
Never in my life have I been loved by someone the way I’m loved now.
I finally know that respect is.
Reciprocation.
Effort.
When this man tells me I’m beautiful, I believe it.
When he tells me he loves me, I feel it.
He truly is incredible, and I thank God that we found each other, even if he was right under my nose for years…
I look forward to every single day with him, to waking up next to him, getting that sleepy “good morning, beautiful”…. That good morning kiss…. Cuddling for just a few more minutes before we have to get up and get ready for work.
He makes my days better. Just hearing his voice or seeing him walk past me makes my heart flutter. What’s even better is knowing I get to come home to him. To relax and watch a movie while he plays with my hair, or to go out and grab dinner and drinks and just talk about anything.
Then crawling in bed at night and falling asleep on his chest to the sound of his heart beat.
Life with him is just…. Easy.
He’s handsome, kind, intelligent, and strong.
I admire him so much as a man, a father (to two amazing kids!)… as a person.
To find someone who can satisfy every need, mentally, physically, sexually, intellectually… it’s something I’ve never had, until now.
I cannot wait to have his last name.
To have his child.
To spend every day making him as happy as me makes me.
To see what our future holds.
I finally found my forever, and I’m never letting go!
