It was a sunny when Cadie was awaken by the flash of sunlight which shone into her bedroom.
"Ho Ho " Cadie muttered as she about to get up from sleep.
"Cadie !!!". Mother called from the kitchen .
"It is already 7;45am , aren't you going for lectures today??" Mom asked .
"Haba, Someone will not breath in this house because of this woman, I can't rest again in my entire life because I'm a student... Cadie soliloquize as she walked to the restroom to clean up herself.
Coming back from the convenience,she noticed she had missed her friend's Call, Debbie.
"Oh poor Debbie", I missed your call . Let me call her back". Cadie said.
Pum pum..... The phone rang, shortly Debbie was online ...
"Hi Cadie" Debbie greeted.
"Hi Honey" Cadie replied .
"Sorry I missed you call, just woke and trying to get ready for morning class".
"What's up?" Asked Cadie
"I'm spectacular"Debbie replied .
"Hope you had a cool night rest?" Asked Cadie..
"Yeah.. Something like that ,but I'm not really certain" Debbie replied reluctantly
"Aww... So sorry"
"Are you still coming for the dinner?"
asked Debbie..
"Why not! " Ah Ah ,it still occured to me na" Cadie replied almost nervously.
"See you soon in the eatery ,hopefully by 6pm. Make sure you are not late oo. Said Debbie.
"I've heard you miss punctuality" Cadie mocked.
"Whatever!" Exclaimed Debbie...
Meanwhile, Debbie didn't just invite her friend for dinner for nothing sake, but realistically there was a reason behind it..
Back there at home , Cadie was just too busy to think about the dinner and why so soon again since she had invited her for dinner just three days ago...
Actually ,there is this guy in school name Dave ,a law and a final year student that has been admiring Cadie for some time now .Unknown to Cadie.
Two days earlier , immediately the afternoon class was concluded, he drove up to Debbie who was walking out of the campus.
"Hello"greeted Dave
"Hello" responded Debbie in a very slight manner.
"I can give you a ride, if you don't mind" Dave offered
"Oh !, I really mind , thank you " Rejected Debbie.
"Hey babe , you cant be walking under this scorched sun this afternoon, please just join me I wouldn't be bad ... Dave demanded..
"Okay, for the sake of being jovial let me just hmm..."
The journey was so quiet and calm as Debbie wasn't ready to talk . She fixed her gaze on the main road.
"So ,won't the damsel speak to me?" Dave suddenly broke the silence .
"Don't feel like talking right now " Debbie said not wanting the conversation to continue.
"Okay, I know you must have been very exhausted?"
"Indeed" Debbie muttered with a sigh.
"My name is Dave Austin,I'm a final year student in this school , studying law."
"I'm Debbie, studying mass communication and a year three student."
"Wow!!! Obviously!" Dave exclaimed.
"Debbie , I have been watching you and your friend the past few weeks now in school.
Look! I'm in love with your friend... Since the first day I saw her, seriously I can't take my mine off her"
Debbie was surprise because she didn't see that coming ...
Dave continued .. " I want you to help me ... Let's do something that will make her meet me,okay?".
"Look ,Dave I can't do this ... All this final year student are just roaring lion looking for who to devour .
I can't betray me friend " Debbie confessed.
"I can't do that ,Debbie"
That's how the discussion went until Debbie got home.
Meanwhile ,they have exchanged contact.
For the past three weeks now , Dave has been talking to Debbie , begging and convincing her to help him..
Proclaiming his love for Cadie.
After weeks and weeks of pleasing , Debbie finally agreed to help ..
It was 5:50 when Cadie arrived at the eatery..
Five minutes later , Debbie arrived..
"Hiiiiiii , what a surprise, you really wanted to show me pepper today" Debbie said.
Haha hahaha hah..... They both laughed excitedly .
They both ordered for the same meal . Eating and discussing at the same time.
Shortly, Dave walked in looking as elegant and smart with flowered shirt and a jean trousers as always..
"Hi ladies " he greeted.
"Hi" chorused the girls .
Can I talk to you please , referring to Cadie.
"Is there any problem?"
"No!, not really "
"Okay"
Cadie excused her friend to go..
He took her to the VIP seat where they both sat and started discussing.
They were just so fond of each other, talking as if they have met before...
"Cadie, I'm leaving" Debbie said ..
"Oh yeah, I need to get going now . Dave got her number promising to call immediately he arrive home.
" Bye Dave" Cadie waved
"Bye!" Debbie added ..
It's been four weeks now , Cadie is always looking forward to his call in the evenings and ride after lectures..
Playing and running in the field

Cadie is so much in love with Dave than she could ever imagine..
Having sleepless night for the past five weeks now, thinking of Dave...
Same with Dave, he was so elated anytime he sees her.
He couldn't stay without calling her a day else might get sick. love was in the air..
In the sixth of platonic friendship. Dave invited her for a date in his house.
She was so excited because she was finally going to his house...
It was 4pm when she arrived.
Dave almost got carried away by the beauty of Cardie.... He has never seen her so beautiful...

"Oh yeah!!, can't wait to have a taste of it". Cardie said eagerly
The lunch was jollof rice and fried chicken. It was really nice that she didn't believe he could make such food..
After the lunch , the started talking , laughing and cracking jokes ...
Unfortunately, Dave started kissing Cardie and she kissed back.. It was obvious that she waited so long for this moment to come...
The scenario ended with the fact that they had sexual intercourse...
Two weeks later , things started changing, the feelings for her started depreciating .. He called her less, he pick her up from school no more..
Sometimes he ignore her call...
Cadie was worried and when she confronted him , he said nothing was wrong that he just got many things on his head to do...
Hours passed, days passed, weeks passed, months passed with less or no call at all...
One evening Cardie saw his text and the content was drastic... It said "I'm sorry , I can't feel it again..
