THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD

in #love6 years ago

“My servant will succeed in his task; he will be highly honored. Many people were shocked when they saw him; he was so disfigured that he hardly looked human. But now many nations will marvel at him and kings will be speechless with amazement.

They will see and understand something they had never known.” Says The LORD,

It was the will of the LORD that his servant grows like a plant taking root in dry ground.
He had no dignity or beauty to make us take notice of him. There was nothing attractive about him, nothing that would draw us to him.
We despised him and rejected him; he endured the suffering and pain, no one would even look at him, we ignored him as if he were nothing. But he endured the suffering that should have been ours, the pain that we should have borne.

All the while we thought that his suffering was punishment sent by God. But because of our sins he was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment he suffered, made whole by the blows he received. All of us were like sheep that were lost, each of us going his own way. But the LORD made the punishment fall on him, the punishment all of us deserved.
He was treated harshly, but endured it humbly; he never said a word. Like a lamb about to be slaughtered, like a sheep about to be sheared he never said a word.

He was arrested and sentenced and led off to die, and no one cared about his fate. He was put to death for the sins of our people.

He was buried with the rich, even though he never committed a crime or ever told a lie.
The LORD says,

It was my will that he should suffer; his death was a sacrifice to bring forgiveness. And so he will see his descendants; he will live a long life, and through him my purpose will succeed. After a life of suffering He will again have joy he will know that he did not suffer in vain.

My devoted servant, with whom I am pleased, will bear the punishment of many and for his sake I will forgive them.
Isaiah 52:13 - 53:1-11

WHO IS GOD?
These verses speaks about JESUS CHRIST the only begotten Son of God and the servant of the most high GOD.

WHO IS JESUS CHRIST
Jesus is the living embodiment of God; he is the word as was referred to in the book of John.

John1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The problem with us is we try to use our human mind to understand the nature of God, He is beyond our understanding. Apart from the salvation of all mankind, Jesus was sent to show us the way, to bring us closer to (the Father) God by showing us who the Father is through himself; for He and the father are one.

John 14:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

We cannot Know everything about God but only that which he reveals through His Son; Jesus Christ, for God is beyond us, He keeps us in awe of His greatness.
But we know this, Jesus is one (of the TRINITY) with God the father and the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit is (the third person of the trinity) God’s Power made manifested, just as your body, soul and spirit are You and are one so is the TRINITY though not exactly like ours, for God is a Spirit but, they are separate persons both yet one and the same.

So my friends, the purpose of telling you who (The Father, Son and Holy spirit) GOD is, is so you can understand why His love is the greatest there is and will ever be.

GOD’S LOVE
For God Love the world so much that he (sacrificed) gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) that whosoever believe in Him will not die but have eternal life. ------------- John 3:16

Most people do not know they need saving and some will argue; since we are saved why care or worry about who Jesus is or how we leave our life?

The purpose of God is fulfilled through Jesus; to bring all mankind to God for our Sins have driven us away from Him.
God is a pure Spirit and nothing impure can be with him for our sins have corrupted our spirit and thus driven us away from God and we deserve all the pain and misery that comes our way because of our disobedience to God, for you see my friends, our sins brings us these pains and misery in the long run. His commands are for our own good that we may not stray. Just as good parents love their children and give them rules to keep them from harm, so does God and he loves us even more than a loving parent, any human or spirit would.
Unlike a disobedient child our disobedience to God cost us our own life, for the payment of Sin is death.

Romans 6:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our Spirit dies just as the body. The body can look alive and well while the spirit is dead. When we die our body is buried (decays) and remains on earth while the spirit goes back to (GOD) the creator. Those who are spiritually dead cannot be with God, for God is a pure Spirit and nothing impure can be with him.
There is only one-way mankind can (be spiritually alive) have life thus be with God and is through Jesus Christ; who gives to all, the Spirit of God who is the source of all life, the same spirit that resurrected him from death He will give to all that believe in Him and accepts his sacrifices for the forgiveness of all sins.

The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are .
John 6:63

I am telling you the truth; those who hear my words and believe in him who sent me have eternal life.
John 5: 24.

I am telling you the truth; replied Jesus that no one can enter the kingdom of GOD without being born of water and Spirit. A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit.
John 3:5-6.

We were created as an eternal being; to leave for ever with God but, Adam’s disobedience cost us our everlasting life and our sins keeps us further away from (God) life.

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death was passed on to all men, because all sinned.
Romans 5:12

Though the price for our sin was our life and the price to get back our eternal life is a life; for it is said, a life for a life, God was still determined to bring us back to himself because of His everlasting Love for mankind. He sacrificed Himself through his only begotten son Jesus Christ that he may give his life for ours.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:22

Know this, He didn’t have to give His life but he did it because he loves us.

CONCLUSION
I know this might be a lot for you to understand but, if you do understand then God has giving you the understanding of his words and he is calling you to himself so, I urge you don’t reject his call look deeper into yourself there is more to life for you, search for God in truth don’t rely on your own understanding ask God to reveal himself to you.

If God is Love, then he possesses all the attributes of Love; He is patient, Kind, does not envy, does not boast, is not proud, is not dishonest, is not self-seeking, is not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth, always protects, is trust worthy, always hopes, always perseveres, never fails.
He will surely forgive your sins and give you eternal life.

Please search your heart come to Christ in pray and let him guide you, you have nothing to loose but everything to gain.

I will leave you with the say verse form the book of john:

John 15:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus lay down his life for us that we may have life and all he ask is that you accept his sacrifice.

Once again, thanks for your support!

It goes against everything I stand for to upvote a religious-themed post, but since it is the only one you have available, I forced myself to do it anyway.
It has nothing to do with your post, and everything with my aversion for religion, lol.

I just wanted to drop by and show you a little support.
