RE: Long Distance Works?

in #love7 years ago

Great write up @ibukun but have got a question on this topic. Here comes my simple question. Is it possible to love someone you don't trust?
Marriage counsellors always talk about the building blocks in marriage relationship and one of it is trust, infact to me it looks like the most important of the blocks.
Therefore if this block is solidly laid, the issue of distance will not pose any threat to the relationship. Whether distance or close.

Definitely trust is very important in a relationship, when there are trust issues in a relationship, love dies. Trust is definitely the most important block in a relationship.
Thank you for reading 😊

I think there's more than to it than "TRUST". More of it is effort and sustained mutual level of interest.

In my opinion, the issue with long distance relationship is complicated. It's more than just trusting. There are things like nostaligia, lack of overt sexual expressions, physical presence and etc. that trust can not handle

things like these don't thrive on trust. they thrive on presence. and that's why long distance relationship as the write clearly stated has a unique challenge.
