I am hugging this silence
soaked with echoes of your name,
my heart yawns,
hungry for your presence
lonely in this wilderness,
the desert speaks,
missing waters of wisdom
in days of thirst
supplied by your hands.
your face is oval, filled with lines
in similitude to scars, each scar a
storyteller. your lips is a coffin cast in gold,
burying secrets of yore. in the midst
of the city painted on your face, on your body,
and your curves, beauty is etched.
so when you smile, the heights of your
cheek is a reminder that not all that glitters
is gold.
our love, this love is etched on the palms of emotions,
lines drawn parallel never meeting.
Are you in love? Love should not hurt. Beware. Live beyond.
What are your experiences of love?
