Years ago, I went to a singles event that totally sucked. I was outside the event location about to leave when I overheard a girl talking about how she had met her fiancé. A large group of her girlfriends were crowded around her as she was saying she read a book that was quite spiritual in that she followed the steps the book said to do and then met her man 30-40 days later. I literally had no shame in walking over to her and saying: "Excuse me! What was the name of that book?!"
As it turns out, the name of that book is "The Soulmate Secret: Manifest the Love of Your Life with the Law of Attraction" by Arielle Ford. I highly recommend you go right to your local library, bookstore, or online marketplace and pick up a copy! I am not sponsored, but rather, it is a book that greatly shifted my thinking to positive when it came to finding a partner.
It's easy to think positively that you can find the right house to buy, or a job to take, but when it comes to finding love, we often get negative and depressed and think it's not meant to be for us, but this is not the case! It's when we stay open and ready for finding that right person, and knowing that he/she exists, that the person is able to step into your life.
The book explains about how to make a list of attributes for your ideal partner, as well as a collage - both will help you to evoke the feeling you will have with your significant other, and also give you a sense of knowing that that person is out there.
Trust me, I know it can get really depressing meeting a lot of frogs and wondering if your prince or princess is really out there. But just know that each person you date helps teach you valuable lessons of what you do and don't like in a partner so that you can really and truly appreciate the right one when he/she comes along.
I'm not saying that every day you can feel super smilie, but I am suggesting that in following these steps, you can find yourself with a sense of calm as you can better enjoy the search process.
I hope this video inspires you to keep it positive and know that your love is out there, maybe right around the corner, waiting for you! On a side note, I completely believe that we have more than one soulmate, and it's just a matter of the right timing in finding each other with an open heart and mind.
Sometimes the stars just have to be aligned, kudos to helping single people everywhere who are looking
So true Crypticat; timing is a big part of it. It's so important we learn to be in a positive/happy place on our own, and then it's the best timing to have someone special enter your life when you already feel content. And thank you! I want every single person to find love. :)
love is like water. you can drink it, swim it but you cannot live without it.
I agree; Love makes everything better! And I should add that loving yourself and your life is #1. :) Then to love another is the cherry on top.
thank you
really good if you want to read the book is already a lot of proves to the success in getting a mate
Yeah! I hope you love it and find more inspiration in it.
I personally don't believe in soulmates, and not because i'm depressed or anything but only because I've dated so much and was always able to find a girl that gave me the same or more of a sense of satisfaction than the previous. With that being said, I definitely want to be proven wrong. I am a secret hopeless romantic!! Good post :)
Thanks, Manup! If you don't mind my asking, how old are you? I've also dated a ton(!) to learn what I did and did not like. Many were amazing people, BUT did not have that "je ne said quoi." That certain special chemistry to make me STOP and be like HEY, this person is intriguing. So I think it's ok and good to keep dating, and if the ladies in your life keep improving, then you are doing something right! However, be careful to also appreciate the one right in front of you if you can't figure out why you love being with her so much, and feel you can be yourself around her... that could be someone special for you. ;)
I'm 29 years old. I will definitely take your advice to heart! Since I am getting at that age where I'm thinking more and more about settling down and possibly starting a family, not immediately, but sometime in future, I don't want to miss out on something special by being too confident in thinking something better is always around the corner.
Sometimes I think the best way to find your soulmate is to let go and allow grace to let you flow..
I totally agree as long as once you have let go, you are also out being social and enjoying life! It would be hard to find your soulmate if you are hiding indoors watching movies every night. :p
Being single is best, if you doesn't find a good partner
Absolutely! I could not agree more. Life has so many things to do that you can enjoy and that can bring you joy. It's only worth adding a partner if he/she adds more joy to your hopefully already awesome life. :)
:-) yes right

Darblie i must say, that was a wonderful post, sometimes our soulmates are right infront of us but we are too blind to see them, sometimes we cling to people that are untruthful to us because they tell us what we want to hear, but i pray that we all will find our perfect match
