Long exposure photography: Canberra

Canberra Day 2008. I used a tripod with my point and shoot camera and played with the manual settings to get this shot of Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra. I like the moon over Black Mountain.

This is my first entry to the long exposure contest hosted by @juliank under @photocontests.

Great shot! I'm thinking about getting a tripod to work on long exposures. What kind do you have?

I have two tripods. One is a Gorillapod. The other I can't remember the brand. I highly recommend the Gorillapod!

Nice shot, Love the Lake. Fish it most days. Unusual to see the water spout at that time of day, usually not running through the evening.

Yes I think they changed the timing of when they have the jet on
