Trying long exposure photography for the first time...it was a disaster.

IMG_5223.jpgIMG_5239.jpg
Today, I tried long exposure photography for the first time. It turned out bad. I used a tripod to reduce movement to perfect stillness, still a disaster. The pictures turned out blurry one after another. I will try another day. I'm not afraid to show my failures while most people put most of their best work, I will show my best and worst; because, the steemit community has helpful advice. Thanks for looking (at this disaster that is.)

Sort:

well I like them , the first has a gentle ripple of light like a pathway on water , the other maybe looks like ripples of foam

IT was the wind that was blowing the plants that made it look blurry. Thanks for looking.

Me encanta esa imagen

Thank you korf. Followed.

I don't know anything about photography to be helpful to you but I can tell you what my lay eyes see.

That first photo is actually very good! Look how the light makes a path I swear could be walked on! That is a positive!! Look at the light hitting the ripples that are frozen in time like a magical spell cast. The blurriness around these things with blue and purple make it look spiritual. For this particular photo...I say it's a winner. Just my little opinion. I do have squirrel bait eyes. "Let the Lord guide you through the water" or something like that.

You are just too kind. The problem was that the wind was blowing the plants around, thus making it blurry due to the long exposure.

The second one yeah but the first one is just fine that way. The plants look fine to me.

You are too kind. I'm glad to have found you. You are a great supporter.

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

You are a creative photographer. I like that. There's a nice photograph and then there's a photograph that comes alive. Your work is art. I appreciate art. I'm glad you found me too. Your content is a nice break from corruption, conspiracies, monitoring, research, etc.

Thank you for those nice words. Yes, We all need a break from overexposure from certain subjects. Man, I got to say steemit is hard work. I may need to take a break from it for a day or two lol.

Yeah, It can be a lot of work and breaks are needed at times.

The first and second photos are good. Only the second one needs a little editing. Look at how I did it.
