After the London Cryptocurrency Show - Steem Spirit, Reflections and Special Moments

Most who were there at the event this last weekend, would probably agree with me that the #promo-steem stand at the London Cryptocurrency Show, definitely brought the most life, colour and frankly, the most good looking people to the event. It was a beautiful gathering of visionaries, talent, brilliant minds and incredibly interesting characters.

Looking back, #promo-steem is actually one of the first initiatives I followed and supported since joining Steemit last year. I was at their last big event at the London Investor Show last Oct, which was in fact, the first Steemit related meetup I'd ever been to.

Fun fact: @starkerz and @anarcotech were actually the first Steemians I'd ever met in person (at the London Investor Show last Oct), and interestingly, they were the last 2 people I saw last Saturday (after the London Crypto Show), before I went home!

It's really amazing to see how far #promo-steem has come since their event last Oct, as many can see from the tremendous amount of support, team effort, hard work and voluntarism that was everywhere this last weekend. There was definitely a ton of Steem Spirit in the air.

A BIG shout out to @creatocracy for all the top notch design work she did for the stand displays!!

And a MASSIVE shout out to the #promo-steem guys, @stephenkendal, @starkerz, and @anarcotech for making this all happen! You guys did the majority of the hard work before the event. Thank you for doing what you do, and inspiring so many others to follow suit!

On the day, I hardly had the chance to check out the presentations or talks going on, let alone the other stalls. Instead, I had the pleasure of spending some time with some of the teams who came to present.

I got to spend soo much time with you guys, mostly because of our mutual love for @techslut..
I love your team's working relationship/dynamics, it's been fun to witness as a bystander. It's also been great getting to know you all, you're all amazing and weird, I love it. Nico, you are awesome, in your own very unique way. Better luck testing my Maths skills next time! Diego, try not to buy things from strangers in London next time, eh? Roxane, I love you, that is all.

Shame I didn't get a pic with you all (only with @techslut and @roxane), but we can make up for that next time ;)

I didn't take many pictures of the "after party", but here are some of my favourites:

As I continue to process the magnitude of this last weekend, for now, I want to thank all who were there and everyone who contributed to the day in some way, for yet again confirming how amazing the Steemit community is and can be!

I've been loving reading everyone's posts about the day, there are still a few more who haven't posted, and I really hope you do :)
