This is only a logical outcome of downvoting -retaliation, now you are at the stage where you have to upvote what has been downvoted, losing votes for good authors because of this. And this just makes Steemit even less attractive to newbies.

You do realize that letting low effort farm posts get rewarded means less rewards for actual good content, right? When you downvote this it automatically raises the rewards of all other posts that aren't getting downvoted and downvotes are only 25% of upvotes so your logic makes no sense. If the cost is that I'd get downvoted for my downvotes on low effort content I can live with that, the problem is when they go after authors that have nothing to do with it which we would need some solutions to to counter the retaliation or have more people downvote them in return so they'd realize that that shit won't fly here.

Yes, all the people who said downvotes would screw up Steemit were wrong too, you didn't pay them any mind, and yet here you are complaining. actually one of the reasons that were made for downvotes was to destroy bid bots and yet @freedom is getting more rewards from them now than before, how come if they are now out because of downvotes?

No I write an article mostly every day, may be not too good I agree but that is not for you to decide. As for Actifit I just use to keep track of what I walk you can down vote all you want. As for adding something of value what have you done? Photographs and using bidbots? And of course being part of the butt kissers who are the only ones who will stay here if things continue as they are.
Well I run several contests that have given out thousands of Steem in prizes over the years, cofounded a tribe and several communities, run several curation programs and run a witness, just to name a few things I do. As for downvoting your posts, I see no reason to. And yes, I do post a lot of photography related posts, because that is one of the main focuses of the communities I am involved with, but no, I don’t use bidbots as you claim. As far as the butt kissers, if you mean being a curator for @ocd and finding and rewarding undervalued posts here on the platform, then I guess I am part of the butt kisser club.

Most have now turned to curation, that's what you are seeing. It's either they curate or cease to exist. There's few paid votes now.
I don't know, like I said if you look at @freedom he is still getting a lot of rewards from bid bot delegations, in fact more than before and that is not even including OCDB.
