Just a quick one today.
Being a Graphic Designer, I am asked on a regular basis to design logos.
To be honest, I love designing logos. They are always simple and clean. And I love that one single image/icon/type can be so powerful and represent a company or an individual.
Below is a logo that I designed for a fellow Steemian @cyrezthelooney.
He asked me to design a simple logo that could be used on gaming platforms, blogs and social media that was colourful and recognisable. He also mentioned that he wanted an image that could represent "looney".
LOONEY (definition)
- Extremely foolish or silly.
- Mentally deranged; crazy.
A foolish or crazy person.
In relation to the definition, he said that a smiley face was a silly image and wondered if that could be incorporated. So, without trying to make it look childish or gimmicky, I designed the smiley face with half of it 'exposed' to reveal it's skull. The skull represents the crazy element of "looney".
This was the outcome.
