It never occured to me that life could be this simple.
Vehicles were parked in the garage because you were mandated to just stay home. Which in turn means there is no need to dress-up. That thousand-peso rubbershoe or that red-soled pumps are gathering dust in the shoebox because, well, you have nowhere to go. Your treasured bags, jewelries, watches and accessories are simply sitting on your closet. Those make-up kits you bought on sale were left alone in your dresser. Untouched. You realized that wearing your PJs is all you ever need to stay comfy.
It never occured to me that life could be this simple.
Alarm clocks turned off. No morning rush. No running to catch the morning train. No late night overtimes. No Friday free-day night out. No morning hangovers. No nothing.
It never occured to me that life could be this simple.
I can see blue skies. No traffic. No heavy traffic. No noise. No people bumping on each other making their way to wherever they are headed to. Just a plain sight and it gives a renewed feeling of life.
It's humbling.
