First of all, should you really be bothered what people going to say on your funeral? It seems like you're not going to care anymore:)
Anyway, you don't need to have a clear plan for you further life either (I know that employers probably think different), cause it's all about the process which transfers to expirience of any kind - but how can you measure?
I lived in Moscow once, came there as a 17 years old student, whole alone - and survived, and evolved, so I think you're going to be ok:)
