What a day, I've never stopped. We decided to go do some Christmas shopping, to try and catch up with everything, I've had a fabulous suprise which has helped with Christmas alot and with today's shopping I think I'm where I should be.
We first went to the shopping area as its close to the hospital where hubby has an appointment today. We started shopping in TK MAXX where I picked up a few lovely things for mum in law, plus something for my oldest daughter and a few things for me and hubby we then went onto Costa for a coffee and sandwich before we had to go for hubbys hospital appointment. He has an appointment to see what's been seen in his MRI. He was only in for around half an hour, he has to go in for keyhole surgery as his cartlidge in one knee is damaged with a massive split running along it. That should happen within the next 3 months.
We then drove back to the shopping area, our first stop was in Smyths the toys shop. We and hubby are having our very own Christmas day just me and him so we thought let's have some fun playing a few games. We also found a couple of presents for my granddaughter, the prices where to good not to, her Christmas bag is full apart from a few choccy treats.
CHRISTMAS DAY GAME
These should be fun or so I thought until I remembered what hubby is like playing games, HE HAS TO WIN I can see a few cross words but I'll have fun as he's funny when he's angry. We then went onto to Marks & Spencers to buy a few things for tea plus when I shop here I always buy a few treats as the food is amazing.
Our last shop was The Works, they sell loads of reasonably priced books, puzzle books, colouring in books etc for all ages, My daughter wanted a few books and I thought I could pick up a few for my granddaughter but they didn't have what I wanted, I did pick up a couple of calendars for next year for me and hubbys mum. Next stop home.
By the time I got home I was ready for a sleep, I now have to wrap them all, its the one thing I hate about Presents the wrapping. Thankfully I haven't bought anywhere near what I usually buy so shouldn't take me to long.
MY SUPRISE
I mentioned the suprise in the above first paragraph. I was playing a game of bingo last Sunday night, I shouted for a full house winning a Christmas hamper, this has loads in as I won one last year, also you get a £40 Voucher to buy the meat for Christmas day, that's hubbys to choose as I'm a vegetarian, this has saved me so much trouble and money. I've received am email today to say it's been dispatched so should get it next week.
