Hey dear readers from both HIVE and outside of it! For today's first post here on my HIVE blog, I decided to share my eighth overall poem and the seventh one written in English which is entitled 'The Lonesome Island', part of my very first self-published poetry volume 'Lines of an Abstract World' (initially issued on Amazon way back in late 2018, when I was still a bachelor student at Aalborg University in Aalborg Denmark).

Therefore, without further needless ado, here's the poem:
Reverting the color of a plea
Few were truly able to see
And once there none could even want to flee...
The island in the sea
With lush forests and grounds of calm
With echoes from the waterfalls sometimes whispering qualm
Signifying nothing more than melancholic elegy of sound
The lonesome island in the sea
What can it better be
Than to dive into the sparkling, blue ocean waves
Close by the hot, golden shore covered in the beautiful sun's rays?
The lonesome island in the sea
A long while back ago, several fortunate castaway were left alone
On the rugged cliffs above an ancient cove
With the wind meant to shove
A fallen and forgotten scarlet glove'
