Charlie Lee admits his ambition to work with Monero in a series of tweets he posted yesterday, claiming that Litecoin’s liquidity would be a good fit for Monero’s anonymity and fungibility.
Monero (XMR) creator Riccardo Spagni and Litecoin (LTC) creator Charlie Lee would appear to be taking tentative baby steps in potentially bringing their two coins closer. Spagni posted the following tweetyesterday, which first bandied the idea of a possible merger between the two cryptocurrencies

This will be a nice alliance if this materializes in the real world and brings the best technologies on both coins.
I think we will start to see more of these companies collaborating. It makes sense. Bitcoin was created by a group of people that had attempted their own coins/businesses before building Bitcoin together. I wouldn't be surprised if some coins buy out others, as well.
