I'm more excited about Bitcoin Lightning Network. BTC is the most actively developed project. Lightning will allow less activity on the main blockchain, creating faster transactions. Most people are still only planning to use BTC for major purchases from what I have seen, so Litepay can possibly be a good solution for those day to day transactions you mentioned.
