Get ready for Litecoin Cash, because it is coming. But what will it be worth?

It's definitely hard to say. The fork is intended to increase transaction speed which is, as you probably know, already a lot faster than Bitcoin. However, Litecoin Cash would improve the speed further.

Don't be deceived into anything, and definitely don't go thinking that Litecoin Cash will suddenly appear in your GDAX wallet. According to Litecoin founder Charlie Lee, the Litecoin development team is not forking the coin- someone else is. Since cryptocurrencies are open-source, this does not necessarily mean the coin is a scam, but be prepared to do your own research into it.

The fork will occur precisely at block 1371111. The Litecoin network is currently on block 1368028 at the time of writing, according to BlockCypher. The fork is expected to occur sometime around 9 p.m. ET on Monday, February 19. Expect some price rising until then before a pullback.
