The LTC price now matches the daily average for 10-11 December. It is mirroring BTC so whether it holds or drops further is entirely down to BTC's movement. I bought some LTC 4.5 hours ago and it hasn't fallen much since then. For me it is a better option than buying BTC as the transaction fees are not as great, but LTC is liquid enough to use to buy most other altcoins...
