GOOD EVENING STEEMIT!
I’m writing this from the middle of nowhere in Tasmania. On an unsecured wifi connection at the dodgiest little pub called the Mole Creek Hotel.
Unfortunately, the Boags Draughts caused me to fat finger the submit button early, and I published the bare minimum template rather than the blog containing any sort of explanation.
So if you read my blog or Twitter, you’ll know that I’m quite the Litecoin bull. If you haven’t already without any context and figured it out yourself, take a look at the chart below:
LTC/USD Daily
As you can see, price has remained capped by that steep, bearish trend line, but has since formed a higher low as it starts to break out. A highly bullish signal.
As price now pulls back and looks to retest the broken trend line, I’ve marked the sweet spot confluence of support with the new short term level.
2018 is going to be the year of Litecoin. If you’re not on board, this is your level.

Litecoin had amazing growth in the last few weeks. Transaction fees are better than bitcoin and ethereal for sure.
You know it! Litecoin is the leading contender for the crypto to be actually used day to day for payments.
Well I am not a crypto expert but once lightnjng network is implemented then probably bitcoin can be used for day to payments. Bitcoin Cash and Dash are also great currencies. I agree litecoin has low transaction fees and I usually transfer litecoin to different exchanges and then convert it in to bitcoin or ethereum if I want to buy altcoins.
Anyways today I am not following litecoin. Today neo and gas are on fire and I wish I had bought more Neo and gas.
You really think that this is going to go smoothly? This is Bitcoin we’re talking about here. I’m still holding a portion of my portfolio in Bitcoin, but I’m skeptical.

It's so so unbelievable the the Litecoin can perform this wonder. What did they do to it?
They made it faster and cheaper than Bitcoin while still having that early mover status. Charlie Lee has done a great job.

Litecoin has many surprises these year and accoeding to Lee 2018 is a year of litecoin.

I know what you mean. Today was forecast if you look back at the BTC charts from the previous years. Wish I was a whale like you said and able to pump and dump the prices. Slowly buy surely we can get there! Best of luck to you. Cheers!

Don't be scared. Just buy on the dips and make sure you diversify your portfolio.
Thanks for the update. I've been in Litecoin since it was $60 and have been accumulating as much as I can. It's a very high prospective coin in my opinion.

Thanks for this reassuring info. I am holding some Litecoin. Recently I felt that it was not going up steadily. With your info, I guess it is good to hold and see.

I agree the Litecoin chart is looking pretty good. I think what we're going to see soon is Bitcoin another leg up and then followed by the alts like Litecoin again. It is listed on most mainstream exchanges, so it and Ethereum are poised to keep going up I think.
Also, wish I was in Australia. I'm in cold, wet Holland. You know, the place where Abel Tasman, the discoverer of Tasmania, was from (he was looking for a better climate, I am sure)

I’m actually impressed by your knowledge of Tasmania! It’s interesting that they didn’t bother settling on the island and the British ended up colonising. Things could have been really different :)
I agree with your thoughts on crypto, with the next bitcoin upleg dragging everything else up. It will be a market wide rally and Litecoin is poised to do well with all the pending fundamental news to be released in 2018. Hold!
Us Dutch kind of screwed up. We used to be the world's super power during the 16-17th century, even Britain feared us! it's our 'golden age' so the historic stuff during that era, like Abel Tasman's discovery, is not completely unknown here (although the average dutch person would still not know a thing about it, unfortunately).
Long term I remain hesitant on Litecoin though. I feel like it's reason for existence is getting less and less clear over time. I myself don't think it strengthens the community that Charlie Lee cashed out. Similarly I thought it was very strange too that he abandoned Litecoin for 3 years before returning to work on it in 2017... only after it rose significantly in price. He seems like a really nice and cool guy but when I look at his actions I can't help but wonder.

LTC is my largest and by far my favorite coin in my portfolio. I know there has been some bad PR since Charlie sold his coins. However, I believe that he did it for the good of the coin. Let’s be honest, he is already rich from his BTC holdings so money can only motivate so long.
I share your opinion that it’s a good thing. We are still trusting him on his word that he is still working for the good of LTC, but I’m happy to for now. I think he’s earned that right.
